14/2 - And the Grammy goes to...
And the Grammy for best choral performance goes to... Verdis Requiem by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.
Our congratulations go to Riccardo Muti (conductor), Duain Wolfe (chorus director) and the Chicago Syphony Chorus. It was a double win: the Grammy for best classical album was awarded to this very same recording.
A recording of Frank Martins Golgotha (harmonia mundi) brought Cappella Amsterdam and the Estonian Philharmonic Choir led by Daniel Reuss a nomination for the Grammy for best choral performance, as well.
