7/8 "Recognizable and great expressiveness"
Performing Arts Fund awards multi-year subsidy to Cappella Amsterdam.
The Performing Arts Fund of the Netherlands has awarded a multi-year subsidy to Cappella Amsterdam, based on their positive review of the choirs future plans.
From their review: "Under direction of Daniel Reuss, the choir has steadily grown (...) and shows great skills. Even though Cappella Amsterdam performs music from a great variety of style periods, it still has a very recognizable identity and unique position. The commission is pleased with the expressiveness of the choir: the individual singers are clearly strongly involved, which contributes to liveliness of the choir and a good communication with its audience."
